WWE Wrestlers Given New Rule For TV Tapings

It would seem a new remit has been issued to all WWE wrestlers which will cause them a bit more work when performing on TV.

We recently reported that WWE had apparently banned thigh slapping whilst performing moves.

It seems they’re on a roll for setting these remits – although this one is rather more logical.

According to Ringside News, a directive has been sent out to all talent stating they must continue wrestling during commercial breaks.

The statement given is as follows:

Effective now, you will need to work through the commercial breaks at TV. It keeps you warmed up, it continues the in-ring story, it is practice before we go live with fans and is a better experience for the virtual audience.

It had seemingly become common practice to just stop in-ring during the breaks, then continue just before they went live again.

With the world opening back up and live crowds no doubt returning in the near future, it seems logical to brush off any traditions which may have become common during the pandemic era.
