WWE have been testing their brand new ThunderDome production concept which will provide a very different look to WWE programming going forward.
A selection of fans were sent out invites by the company earlier this week to participate in testing of the Thunderdome to iron out any system bugs or defects ahead of its TV debut on Friday Night Smackdown.
Fans have been largely missed from WWE television programming since late March, and once again the ring will surrounded by members of the WWE Universe in a digital capacity which in some ways mirrors the ‘new normal’ and digital age which we now live in.
The Amway Center in Orlando will be the home of the Thunderdome and WWE programming for the foreseeable future, and will be put to the test with the scheduled Intercontinental Championship match between AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy on this week’s Friday Night Smackdown.
In addition Summerslam will also feature the Thunderdome, and you can join us at Hooked On Wrestling for our Summerslam Virtual Viewing Party on Sunday 23rd August from 8pm UK time. You can get more information on this by clicking here.
