With Bayley needing a challenger for her Smackdown Women’s Championship at Clash Of Champions, a Fatal 4 Way match was announced for this weeks show between Nikki Cross, Alexa Bliss, Tamina Snuka and Lacey Evans.

Before the match started Nikki Cross was hit with a steel chair by Bayley, who was making her way backstage after explaining last weeks attack on Sasha Banks. Cross was checked on by Alexa Bliss and a medic and she said she was ‘ready to go so’ the match got underway, albeit with Cross now starting with a disadvantage.

With both Evans and Tamina on the outside, Cross jumped from the apron and took them both out with a Crossbody. She was then helped up by Bliss who struck her with Bray Wyatt’s Sister Abigail finishing move right in front of the commentary table.

Following the attack on her former friend, Bliss left ringside and the match carried on with just Cross, Tamina and Evans. After blocking a Samoan Drop and a superkick attempt Cross got Snuka’s shoulders down for the pin and win to become the new number one contender.

Now that Bayley finally has a challenger for her Smackdown Women’s Championship at Clash Of Champions, the updated card looks like this:

Drew McIntyre (C) vs. Randy Orton

WWE Universal Championship
