Number three is never necessarily a bad number in the Royal Rumble – and it wasn’t for Bianca Belair.
Mimicking Ric Flair’s iconic 1992 spot, The EST came from third to win the match this year by eliminating Rhea Ripley last.
She entered the match following initial entrants Bayley and Naomi, and managed to stay out of trouble throughout.
There was a moment when Naomi landed on her back on the outside – and used Belair’s hair to pull herself back in to the ring.
As the match boiled down it became a final three which included Belair, Ripley and Charlotte Flair – who had managed to get through another interference from Ric Flair and Lacey Evans.
In the end, Flair was on the apron and it took both Belair and Ripley to eliminate her.
Both women ended up sat on the apron, and eyeballed the other as they got back in the ring.
Belair was the one able to lower the ropes and get Ripley over the top – and stamp her card for WrestleMania.
We can expect her to choose her title match for Mania in the near future – as well as the fallout which will lead to whichever championship contest she doesn’t choose.
