WWE Make Big Change To Previously Announced WrestleMania Match

WWE have made a change to one of the major matches on night one of WrestleMania 37 taking place on Saturday April 10th.

After a feud that has been rumbling since the Royal Rumble PPV in January, WWE had previously booked The Miz to face the musician Bad Bunny in a match on night one of WrestleMania on Sunday April 11th.

As of the go-home edition of Raw, this match has been changed to a tag team match that will now feature Damian Priest teaming with Bunny and Miz’s regular partner John Morrison also added to the match.

The change is not unexpected. When Bad Bunny’s in ring involvement in WrestleMania was first mooted, the tag match was expected and clearly being built towards. When the singles match was announced it was rumoured that WWE had slight injury concerns over Priest and Morrison.

The reports speculated that WWE would rather add the two to the match if they were given a clean bill of health rather than to remove them from a pre-announced tag match and give the perception the match had been somehow lessened.

WrestleMania will take place over two nights on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th April. You can get all the info you need about the event from our handy explainer guide.
