WWE Confirm First Entrant For Royal Rumble Match

On last night’s episode of SmackDown, the first entrant for the men’s Rumble match at WWE’s Royal Rumble PPV was announced.

On last night’s SmakDown, Daniel Bryan declared himself as the first entrant in the men’s 2021 Royal Rumble match.

Following a victory over Jey Uso, Bryan took part in a backstage interview which he used to announce his entry.

Explaining that he is desperate to add a Rumble win to his list of accomplishments, he would be the first of 30 men to throw their hat in the ring for the match.

The Royal Rumble PPV, featuring both a men and women’s Rumble match, will take place on Sunday January 31st from the Thunderdome, now situated at Tropicana Field in St Petersburg, Florida.

Last year’s men’s Rumble was won by Drew McIntyre who went on to defeat Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania to win the WWE Championship.
