Grammy-nominated recording Wale has been confirmed to be in attendance for WWE WrestleMania 37, and will be performing Big E’s entrance music live.
Wale’s performance of “Feel The Power” will take place on night two of ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’ this Sunday, 11th April as Big E defends the Intercontinental Championship against Apollo Crews.
The news was broken by Bleacher Report, who also had Big E speak to them about how important the moment will be for him.
He’s one of my favourite rappers there is, but also to have my friend and someone who’s a huge wrestling fan, I was geeked just to be able to get him to perform. To have him perform for me at home – Tampa’s my home – is incredible. I’m so stoked about it. We’ve been trying to get Wale for years. We tried to get him at a ‘Mania a couple of years ago, but things didn’t work out. I’m so excited about it and I know he is, too, because as a big fan, it’s a dream come true.
The article also comments that this is the first time an artist will have performed an entrance live at WrestleMania since Joan Jett played Ronda Rousey to the ring at WrestleMania 35, which implies we won’t be getting any live performances on night one.
