Two Teams Advance To NXT Dusty Classic Quarter Finals On 205 Live
For the first time this week, WWE 205 Live played host to matches from the NXT Dusty Classic tournament. The show saw two teams advance to the quarter finals.

When announcing the 2021 edition of the Dusty Rhodes Classic tag team tournament, WWE confirmed that for the first time, we would also see matches take place on 205 Live.
This week’s edition saw the first of those matches take place with two teams taking their place in the quarter finals of the men’s tournament.
In the first of those two matches, Legado Del Fantasma expectedly took the win over The Bollywood Boyz. Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde will face the winner of the match between Imperium and Lucha House Party on this coming week’s NXT.

In the night’s other tournament match, Drake Maverick and Killian Dain defeated Austin Grey and Kurt Stallion to move on to a quarter final match with the newly debuting MSK (The Rascalz in Impact Wrestling).

We know what you’re thinking and no…we don’t believe Killian Dain is under 205lbs either!
As well as MSK, last week’s NXT episode saw The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole and Roderick Strong) as well as The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) advance.
The other two matches to complete the first round will see Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory face KUSHIDA and Leon Ruff as well as Ashante Adonis and Desmond Troy facing Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari.
