The Rock’s Catchphrase Added To The Dictionary
One of The Rock’s favourite catchphrases has been today added to one of the most recognised Dictionary references in the world. Jabroni is now officially ‘a thing’

The Rock probably has more popular catchphrases than anyone in wrestling history except maybe Chris Jericho.
A lot of his famous insults particularly have become a part of common speech, and not just for wrestling die-hards. Be honest, you hit your friends with a Rock insult at least once in your life.
One of the most popular phrases was his use of the word “Jabroni”.
This has been proven today when Dictionary.com added over 600 words to it’s official list. One of these being the word “Jabroni“.
The official definition is as follows: “Slang. a stupid, foolish, or contemptible person; loser.”
Yes, we put jabroni in the dictionary. We assume @TheRock could smell us cooking up this update the whole time. https://t.co/kNdHhsLYrn

There is also a second definition that is specific to wrestling: “Also called enhancement talent, jobber. Professional Wrestling. a wrestler whose purpose is to lose matches against headlining wrestlers in order to build up the status and fame of the headliners”
This isn’t the first time a Rock classic has been recognised in the English language, with “smackdown” also having it’s own entry in the dictionary.
