The Rascalz Say Farewell To Impact Wrestling

It would seem that tonight’s farewell match was indeed The Rascalz last in Impact, as the company and their stars have paid tribute to the departing team.

The Rascalz

Last week it was confirmed that The Rascalz would be making their final appearance for Impact on last night’s episode.

The match was set as Dez and Wentz taking on Trey Miguel and current Impact World Champion, Rich Swann.

It was the latter team which picked up the victory after Swann hit a superkick on Dez.

The post-match scenes were emotional, with all four men embracing and tears being shed by The Rascalz.

The trio even left their signature jackets on display on the ropes of the ring as they headed backstage.

Some would rumour that this could have been a storyline, especially when all four men from the match were attacked by Ken Shamrock and Sami Callihan backstage.

This attack came following the announcement that ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Man’ would challenge Swann for the Impact World Championship next week.

However, the focus of the attack was on Swann and not The Rascalz, and with the outpouring of emotion on social media it would seem their time in Impact is up.

Many of the company’s other stars have taken to social media wishing them luck in whatever is next, and the company have heavily featured their farewell on Twitter, above the attack which happened after.

Whatever is next for The Rascalz, we certainly join everyone else in wishing them the best of luck.
