When New Japan standout Kazuchika Okada announced the King Of Pro Wrestling tournament, he made it clear we would get some very unique stipulations voted for by the fans.

The first round of the tournament takes place this Wednesday at the famous Korakuen Hall, and the voting has now decided between the stipulations which each wrestler put forward.

Okada got the public vote for his match, meaning he will be in a 3-on-1 handicap match against Yujiro Takahashi.

There will only be a two count necessary to win the in the match between Toru Yano and BUSHI, which was Yano’s choice ahead of BUSHI’s suggestion of there only being a five count outside the ring.

Satoshi Kojima vs El Desperado will be fought with both men’s finishers causing a disqualification – Desperado’s choice rather than Kojima wanting a match to only end after one hits their finisher.

No vote was needed for the contest between SHO and SANADA, as both men’s stipulation of choice was a submission match.

The winner of each match will compete in a four-way final to decide who comes out on top in the tournament – although they will have to defend their crown until the end of the year, when they will officially be declared the winner and the tournament will begin again.
