Seth Rollins on Becky Lynch: ‘She Will Be Back’

Seth Rollins has shared his thoughts about his fiancée, Becky Lynch’s return to WWE after starting a family.

On May 11th, then WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch stood in the ring to open Raw and shared the news with the world that she was pregnant.

The wonderful but surprising news meant that Becky would relinquish her championship and remove herself from on-screen duties with immediate effect.

Right away, speculation began as to how long The Man would be away from WWE. Would she ever come back? Nobody knows, most likely not even Lynch herself yet.

Her fiancée Seth Rollins has carried on wrestling in his position as one of the most fascinating heel characters on Raw.

In a recent interview with the NY Post, Rollins shared his thoughts on Becky’s eventual return. Whilst far from definitive, he clearly believes her return is just a matter of time.

He said:

“Oh, she hates it. She doesn’t hate not being around the business. Obviously, any kind of entertainment industry is gonna stress you out, so she doesn’t miss that part of it. She missed the go, go, go. She missed having goals in mind. She missed having something to work toward. And it’s hard because I’ve never been a pregnant person, so she’s in a position too where she’s had to just walk away and stop abruptly, her job. It wasn’t like most other women who are pregnant are able to still work their jobs while they’re pregnant and slowly transition out for a short period of time. The nature of our industry, she can’t do that.”

With the baby due sometime before the end of 2020, it remains to be seen what any sort of timeframe for a return could look like.
