Roman Reigns Delivers Superman Punch To Jey Uso

The family feud between Roman Reigns finally got physical on SmackDown this week, just days before WWE Clash Of Champions.

Things have finally got physical in the Anoa’i family feud that sees Roman Reigns defended the Universal Championship against his cousin, Jey Uso this Sunday at Clash Of Champions.

Jey Uso turned up to Smackdown demanding answers from Roman Reigns but was told by Paul Heyman that “it is not going to happen when Jey Uso wants it to happen. It will occur at the convenience of your Tribal Chief and Universal Champion. I guarantee that the conversation will happen in the ring, tonight.”

Later on in the show Reigns and Heyman took to the ring before being interrupted by Jey Uso without even having the chance to speak. Reigns eventually laid it straight on his cousin, telling him:

“To be honest Uce, I would give you this title if I could, but the truth is you wouldn’t even know what to do with it. You don’t understand the accountability, the responsibility, of being on top. You don’t understand the weight and the pressure from being the face of WWE, how could you?”

Roman then carried on with:

HOW ABOUT...  Roman Reigns To Lead New Heel Stable on WWE SmackDown?

It’s not your fault. You’re a twin. Your entire life you’ve depended on your brother. I’m not saying you’re half the man I am, no. You’re one half of the greatest tag team of our generation and because of that our family and I are so, so proud of you… but our family depends on me. Our family relies on me being the Tribal Chief, that’s who I am in this life. It ain’t you. It will never be you, because it will always, ALWAYS be me.

After this Reigns dropped the microphone and left a despondent Jey Uso in the ring while Roman made his way up the ramp, stopping when Uso picked up the mic and had the following to say:

What if you’re wrong? Why can’t I be the one to provide for the family, Use? Why can’t I provide for my wife and my kids, your nephews. I’ve been betting on this my whole life, you’ve been number one, you’ve been on top. You know what they say when they see me? ‘Which one are you.’ After Sunday, when they ask who am I, they’re gonna know, they’re gonna say ‘you’re the one that beat Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions for the Universal Championship!’ Ain’t that right there Uce?

Roman Reigns with his face full of thunder marched to the back as Jey Uso’s music hit. Uso then made his way up the ramp but was blindsided by a huge Superman Punch from Reigns, who then knelt over Uso and shouted in his face saying:

“You’re gonna take your payday, and the ass whopping that comes with it, but you will never take this title, and never take my place at the head of the table.” A chorus of boos rung out as Smackdown went off the air.

The match will play out on Sunday at Clash Of Champions on the WWE Network.
