Ric Flair has denied reports in the NY Post that he has contracted COVID-19.

However, he has confirmed that his wife, Wendy Barlow, is currently suffering from the virus. The Post’s source describes her as “very ill”.

Flairs denial comes after he was pictured collecting an order from a local Starbucks, despite his home state Georgia’s department of public health requiring anyone who has been exposed to an individual with the virus to stay at home.

Flair had notably been appearing on WWE television until recently, with several individuals attending the same tapings since announcing they have contracted the virus.

The 71 year-old WWE Hall Of Famer told the Post his health is excellent and explained that his contact with his wife is minimal. He said:

“My wife does (have the virus)… we live in a 5,000 square foot home. I live in the basement. She lives upstairs on the third floor and she got sick.”

Our best wishes for a speedy recovery and good health go out to Barlow.
