The WWE United States Title belt is one of the longest tenured designs in company history.
Aside from company logo tweaks and a shortlived ‘Spinner’ version during John Cena’s reign, the US title has maintained the same design since its debut in the company 17 years ago. It was introduced in July 2003 as the SmackDown brand’s equivalent to Raw’s Intercontinental Title.
According to the Twitter account, WrestleVotes, tonight will see a new design debuted that will, according to sources, look ‘clean, yet prestigious’
The current champion, Apollo Crews looks to be heading towards a defence against either MVP or Bobby Lashley at Extreme Rules (We so can’t bring ourselves to call the PPV by it’s full title…)
We would love to see your mocked up designs for the belt! Send us your drawing or WWE 2K designs on Twitter at @HO_Wrestling today and we will showcase them all.
