Report: WWE To Move WrestleMania 37 Away From California?

It would look like WWE have started putting plans in place to move next year’s WrestleMania away from California and to a state where fans are already starting to return to stadiums.

WWE WrestleMania 37

Rumours are circulating that WWE could be looking to move next year’s WrestleMania away from the originally planned SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

The possibility was first muted by Gary Cassidy on Twitter, claiming that WWE were planning to head to The Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida – the site originally planned for this year’s WrestleMania.

This has apparently also been confirmed by The Wrestling Observer‘s Dave Meltzer, and WWE’s quote to various media outlets doesn’t rule anything out.

We have nothing to report and given the current environment, we continue to monitor locations for all of our potential events.

With other stadiums in Florida gradually allowing fans back in, including AEW running at 15% capacity, it would seem a logical move to aim for the event to take place in an environment where fans are already being welcomed back.
