Report: Next Year’s WWE WrestleMania Date To Be Moved?

With the location of next year’s WrestleMania seemingly changed, it would now seem like the date could be moved as well in the hope of being allowed a crowd.

In the present climate it is no surprise that there would be some speculation about what date any large events will take place.

With it already looking like WrestleMania will take place in Florida rather than Los Angeles, it seems WWE are considering pushing the date as well.

The report from WrestleVotes claims ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’ may now take place on 11th or 18th April 2021.

Whilst this could be pure speculation, WrestleVotes are gaining a reputation for the truth and recently commented that they want “quality over quantity” implying they won’t run with pure rumours.

It would also fit in with trying to get a crowd in for WrestleMania, as a few weeks could make all the different for how big a crowd they could have.

Other sports have tried a similar tact, with boxing fights such as Joe Joyce vs Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev postponed a number of times in an attempt to be allowed a few thousand fans in.

Although WrestleMania wouldn’t then end up being called off in the same way, this could be another step in making sure a live crowd can enjoy the spectacle outside of a Performance Centre or ThunderDome environment.
