With barely over a week until SummerSlam, nothing has been confirmed officially regarding the location of the event, except it will not be in Boston as originally planned.
Many reports have been trickling in for weeks to suggest WWE have been looking to find a way to have fans at the event in a unique location away from the Performance Center in Orlando.
Rumours have circulated previously about WWE considering locations such as cruise ships and beaches, possibly in the North East.
The latest update from the reliably informed WrestleVotes Twitter account suggests that fans are close to being finalised but not as WWE may have wanted.
Good news, Bad news:— WrestleVotes (@WrestleVotes) August 12, 2020
SummerSlam will not take place in the PC.
However, no fans will be in attendance.
Source still unsure on exact location, as the northeast possibility is now said to be iffy at best.
Surely there will be some word given officially on the situation in the coming days.
Maybe they should give the UFC a call and see if they’ve got round to dismantling Fight Island yet…
