According to PW Insider, New Japan Pro Wrestling this weekend taped their first show since February.
Ahead of their official return on Monday 15th June with the ‘Together Project Special’ show in Tokyo, it seems like they have taped a show in California titled ‘Lions Break Collision’
The show itself was filmed on a closed set with social distancing measures in place at the facilities normally used by ‘Championship Wrestling From Hollywood (CWFH).’
In addition to PWInsider’s report, CWFH placed a photo on social media of the set, clearly showing NJPW logos on the ring apron and screens.
The event obviously only used US based talents including Jeff Cobb, TJ Perkins, Rocky Romero, Clark Connors, Alex Coughlin, Karl Fredericks, Misterioso and most notably, Tom Lawlor, who looks to be making his official debut for the organisation.
