Plans For Impact World Title At Slammiversary Potentially Leaked

What will happen to the promotion’s richest prize at the PPV?

There has been speculation over the future of the Impact World title, currently held by Tessa Blanchard, as of late.

Blanchard has been out of action since the lockdown for COVID-19 began, but information appears to have come out ahead of their next PPV, Slammiversary.

Fightful Select (£) report that Blanchard will be back to defend the title at the big event, taking place on July 18.

But despite a program between Blanchard and Moose being developed on social media, it appears the title match on the show will be something else entirely.

Fightful claim the Slammiversary title match will be a multi-person affair, involving Michael Elgin, Trey Miguel, Ace Austin, and Eddie Edwards.

Moose’s claims to be the real champion (complete with the old TNA version of the heavyweight title belt) could potentially continue to simmer until full live crowds are once again able to attend their shows.

This makes double sense, when you consider that the main selling point for Slammiversary so far has been the tease of one or more returning stars in an intriguing video.
