NXT New Year’s Evil 2021: Date, Start Time, Matches, How To Watch, Streaming

How to watch the upcoming NXT New Year’s Evil, plus everything else you need to know about the event including the full card.

New Year's Evil - Finn Balor vs Kyle O'Reilly

WWE NXT will be kicking off 2021 with ‘New Year’s Evil’, the first weekly special event since the impressive Halloween Havoc episode back in October. Let’s have a look at the matches announced so far including an NXT Title defence, a ‘Fight Pit’ match, and a ‘Last Woman Standing’ match.

NXT New Year’s Evil Full Card:

Karrion Kross vs. Damien Priest Priest, seemingly no longer in the hunt for the North American Championship, will be wanting to prove himself against the newly returned Kross (fresh off a victory against Desmond Troy) and we’ve got to think that whoever gets their arm raised in this match up will be announcing themselves as the next challenger for the winner of the Bálor/O’Reilly NXT Championship match.

Santos Escobar vs. Gran Metalik (NXT Cruiserweight Championship Match) Gran Metalik was given this title opportunity against the leader of Legado del Fantasma on the last NXT of 2020 after Metalik and Lince Dorado beat Escobar’s faction members, Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza.

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Timothy Thatcher (Fight Pit Match) Any match between these two, Fight Pit or otherwise, will be a hard hitting affair. The technical wrestling of Thatcher against the intensity of Ciampa, confined within the steel walls should make for an incredible match.

Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel González (Last Woman Standing Match) These two superstars will be going at each other with everything they’ve got. Ripley pinned González at Halloween Havoc but let’s not forget that González got the pin on Io Shirai at WarGames to get the victory for Team LeRae.

Finn Bálor vs. Kyle O’Reilly (NXT Championship Match) The last time these two met up Bálor ended up with a broken jaw. O’Reilly will be wanting to show that he can inflict so much more damage and Balor will want to prove that the injury was a fluke and he can keep hold of his NXT Championship.
