NJPW Star Hiroshi Tanahashi Makes ‘Appearance’ On AEW Dynamite

During AEW’s 30 Years Of Jericho, a current NJPW star appeared claiming he’d like to wrestle ‘The Demo-God’ ten more times.

Many stars of the wrestling world paid tribute during AEW’s 30 Years Of Jericho celebration, including the likes of his first-ever opponent Lance Storm, DDP, Ultimo Dragon and Chavo Guerrero Jr.

However, the man who stood out to many was current New Japan Pro Wrestling star Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Record-setting eight-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion Tanahashi sent a video message congratulating Jericho, referencing their match at The Tokyo Dome earlier this year.

Tanahashi also pointed out that he lost the match to ‘The Demo-God’, saying he wants to face him one more time, then correcting himself with ten more times.

The fact that an NJPW star showed up on AEW TV, with the NJPW logo in the background, could hint at a future partnership between the two organisations and more specifically a rematch between Jericho and Tanahashi.
