New Title Match Added To Extreme Rules: The Horror Show

Following a fatal four-way match on Smackdown to decide the number one contender for the Women’s Championship, a new match has been confirmed for Extreme Rules: The Horror Show

Last night’s SmackDown was themed as a ‘Tribute To The Undertaker’ with limited in-ring content.

One match that did take place was a number one contender match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

With current champion Bayley and Sasha Banks on commentary, Nikki Cross was something of a surprise winner against Alexa Bliss, Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke.

Cross won the match with a roll up on Evans and will now face Bayley with the title on the line at Extreme Rules: The Horror Show.

The event takes place on Sunday July 19th and the currently announced card is as follows:

– Wyatt Swamp Fight: Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt

– WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler

– Raw Women’s Championship: Asuka vs. Sasha Banks

SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bayley vs. Nikki Cross
