Mike Tyson made his presence known on AEW Dynamite this week during the beat-down of Chris Jericho.
The Pinnacle were just about done with attacking Le Champion when ‘Iron’ Mike made his way to the ring and took down Shawn Spears with a flurry of body and head shots, rescuing Jericho from further harm.
As Spears was pulled out of the ring by his stablemates, the Inner Circle rang to the ring, causing the Pinnacle to run to the back. Jericho stood offered his hand to Tyson which Tyson shook, then both men hugged which suggests the boxing legend is now aligning himself with the Circle.
Tyson will be back on AEW Dynamite next week serving as the Special Ringside Enforce for Dax Harwood (with Cash Wheeler) vs. Chris Jericho (with Sammy Guevara). All other Inner Circle and The Pinnacle members are barred from ringside.
It makes a huge change from the last time Tyson was in the AEW ring last May when he was involved in a pull-apart confrontation with Jericho. We’re fully expecting he’ll be getting physical again next week!
