Major Title Change At NJPW Dominion PPV

NJPW returned to PPV this weekend with a hugely exciting Dominion card that ended with a number of hugely exciting match outcomes.

Needless to say, if you haven’t seen the show, this story contains SPOILERS

NJPW came back to PPV today with their annual Dominion PPV, headlined by EVIL shockingly defeating NAITO for the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Titles. You can read more about that match here.

The other major news coming out of the event was the team of Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr. (Wonderfully known as Dangerous Tekkers) defeated the dream team and reigning IWGP Tag Team Champions, Kota Ibushi & Hiroshi Tanahashi.

The finish came via a nasty looking double-team combo to Tanahashi that put the ‘Ace’ down for the three count.

It is the first tag team title for Taichi and ZSJ that took place in the semi-main event of NJPW’s first major event since Wrestle Kingdom 14 in January.
