Major NXT Superstar Makes Television Return
On last night’s episode of NXT, we saw the WWE return of one of the brand’s biggest stars after a month long injury absence. And their presence was felt immediately.

Last night’s NXT saw the return from injury of former NXT Champion, Karrion Kross.
Kross had been off TV since August due to a shoulder injury he suffered during his NXT title win against Keith Lee at NXT Takeover 30.
The return was set up in the programme’s opening segment. Current champion Finn Balor was in the ring to say he was back from an injury of his own. He was challenged by Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly and Damian Priest who all made title shot claims.
NXT General Manager announced that one of the three would get the title shot on the January 6th special, ‘New Year’s Evil’.

As this happened, Kross’ herald Scarlett Bordeaux made her way to the ring to foreshadow her charge’s return.
At that point, Priest mocked Bordeaux (with a sexist comment that was, frankly, unbecoming of a babyface) that was clearly noticed by the then unseen Kross.
Later in the night, Priest was arguing with Johnny Gargano when Kross appeared out of nowhere and knocked The Archer Of Infamy out cold.

With Kross back, it will surely not be long until he turns his attention to the championship he never lost. Until then, the feud between he and Priest will likely be one of the more physical seen in NXT history.
