On this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) were victorious against the team of Jon Moxley, Rey Fenix, and PAC in a six-man tag team match.

After the match Moxley was about to take some revenge on Omega when he was knocked to the canvass by a masked man jumping in to the ring. The attacker took off his mask revealing himself to be KENTA from NJPW.

KENTA then delivered the Go To Sleep to Moxley, much to the delight of an onlooking Kenny Omega. KENTA will be challenging Moxley for the IWGP US Championship at NJPW’s New Beginning USA show on February 26th.

This appearance marked a landmark moment in AEW with the first official appearance by an NJPW contracted full time star on the programme. Interestingly, the episode as a whole featured talent contracted not just to NJPW but also Impact Wrestling and even the NWA. AEW continues to truly act as the melting pot of the wrestling world.
