Great Muta To Headline NOAH Weekender, Doors Open To Fans

Wrestling in Japan moves further back toward normality this week as Pro Wrestling NOAH announces their return to action.

The Great Muta

In another move back towards normality, Pro Wrestling NOAH will return to the world-famous Korakuen Hall for a weekend of events in July, with tickets on sale to fans already.

The headline attraction of the weekend will be on Saturday, 18th July when Keiji Mutoh, known to many as The Great Muta, will step in the ring for tag action alongside Naomichi Marufuji against Go Shiozaki and Keito Kiyomiya.

Other contests confirmed for the Saturday include a ten man tag featuring stables Sugiura-Gun and Kongo facing off, two six-man tags and Kinya Okada Vs Yoshiki Inamura.

The feature attraction for the second day, 19th July will be a 12-man tag team match, whilst the GHC Junior Heavyweight Singles and Tag Team Championships will also be on the line.

The return of fans to a historic venue like Korakuen Hall is another sign of events going back to normal, although it will be interesting to see what safety measures have to be in place in a venue of that size.
