Last night on AEW Dynamite, we saw Cody defend his TNT Championship against the popular independent WARHORSE.
Cody defeated the popular indie star before two members of The Dark Order hit the ring and attacked both men.

It was then that Matt Cardona (fka Zack Ryder) surprisingly came to his aid, marching down to the ring and disposing of The Dark Order members.
Cardona was one of many wrestlers released from WWE on ‘Black Wednesday’ on April 15th and he is the latest of a long list to debut elsewhere with stars such as Eric Young, EC3 and more debuting in IMPACT and Lio Rush returning to GCW.

It was soon announced that the world’s most famous wrestling figure collector would make his in ring debut on next week’s Dynamite when he and Cody will team up to face John Silver and Alex Reynolds of The Dark Order.
