Game Changer Wrestling hosted their “Homecoming” show in Atlanta yesterday. In the penultimate match of the show, Joey Janela defeated Yoshihiko to become the new DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion.

After the match as the Bad Boy was celebrating, a masked man hit the ring and laid out Janela.

Removing his mask, he revealed himself as former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush.

This is the WWE alumni’s first appearance since being released a few months ago.

Rush took to Twitter to address his return:

Following his attack on Janela, a match has been set for GCW Homecoming Part 2 tonight where Rush will take on the Bad Boy in what is being billed as “The Final Match”.
