On the last two WWE Pay Per Views, Jey Uso has challenged his cousin Roman Reigns for his Universal Title and come up short on both occasions.

At last week’s Hell In A Cell, Uso lost an I Quit match inside the gigantic red cage with the loss meaning he had to accept Reigns as the head of the table, as per the pre-match stipulations.

On this week’s edition of SmackDown, that stipulation came to pass as Uso showed his allegiance to the Tribal Chief with a prolonged and vicious attack on Daniel Bryan to end the programme.

At the start of the show, the two members of the fabled Anoa’i family met in the ring with Jey losing his cool with Reigns and declaring he hated him.

Reigns, sticking to his tremendous heel character, coolly accepted Uso’s wrath and calmly told him he loved his cousin and he would fall in line by the end of the show.

The main event saw Uso defeat Bryan to qualify for Team SmackDown at Survivor Series before showing his family loyalty by destroying Bryan, including hitting him with an Uso splash through the announce table.

With Jey now a heel and doing Reigns’ bidding, it’s a fair assumption that his brother Jimmy will soon do likewise, forming the previously rumoured Anoa’i stable that will likely dominate the top of the card on the blue brand for the weeks and months to come.
