On Raw this week, Edge made the bombshell announcement that he will make his return from injury this Sunday by entering the 30-man Royal Rumble match.

The ‘Rated R Superstar’ has been injured since last June, when he suffered torn triceps in his match against Randy Orton at WWE Backlash.

In the promo Edge talks about how ‘tomorrow is not guaranteed’ and recalls when he first had to retire from wrestling after WrestleMania 27. He then announced:

‘I am entering the Royal Rumble. I know it won’t be like last year. The stakes are higher. If you’ve got a dream, at some point you’ve got to fight to make that dream a reality.”

The multi time champion is no stranger to the Rumble match, he’s been in seven so far, won the 2010 event and made his comeback from a nine-year absence at the PPV last year.

The 2021 Royal Rumble will take place on January 31st from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida and you can find all the details on how to watch, including the updated card, right here.
