For a few days now, speculation has mounted that WWE will be holding SummerSlam and TV tapings for the foreseeable future at Orlando’s Amway Center.
The arena has been mothballed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and it is clear that WWE wants to make the venue its home base and move away from the Performance Center, the home of all their events since late March.
While we await official confirmation from WWE, journalist Jon Alba has provided visual proof that the move has been confirmed. He took to Twitter today to post video and stills of those recognisable WWE production trucks drawing up at the Amway to begin the load in ahead of the event.
Reports have also leaked out that WWE plans to use both pyro and NBA style virtual fans as they return to live programming at their new home base.
