Matches Removed From AEW Dark After Twitter Storm: Cody Responds.

Cody responds after having to cut Clutch Adams’ matches from AEW Dark.

A scheduled contest for the upcoming episode of AEW Dark has been removed, along with the wrestler’s appearance on the previous edition.

Independent wrestler Clutch Adams lost to QT Marshall last week, and was set to go up against Shawn Spears this week – however, homophobic and racist remarks from Adams’ past mean these matches will now not be shown.

The comments were made on Twitter back in 2013, and Cody has been quick to act when this was brought to his attention today.

Adams has since removed his Twitter account, but this of course hasn’t removed screenshots from circulation or the tweets themselves from the memories of anyone who saw them.

As a result, it is no surprise that AEW management have acted swiftly to remove the contests.
