There has been plenty of speculation around NXT moving to Tuesday nights, taking them away from the ‘Wednesday Night War’ with AEW Dynamite.
The main report was that on 13th April, the week after WrestleMania, would be at least one occasion NXT would be on a Tuesday.
It seems, according to the latest report from Pro Wrestling Insider, this is a regular fixture in WWE’s schedule.
The change, according to the report, would also see an impact on Impact.
PWInsider.com has heard from multiple sources this morning that WWE’s production schedule for the month of April now lists WWE NXT for Tuesdays every week post WrestleMania weekend.
Unless there are plans to run a replay the day after, the move effectively leaves AEW Dynamite alone on Wednesdays, so it will be interesting to track what the viewing patterns for each show will be once they separate.
This move would put Impact Wrestling opposite WWE NXT, so expect AXS TV to shift Impact programming to Thursdays so that series remains unopposed.
Although this is all still unconfirmed officially, it seems like everything is moving in the same direction and there won’t be much time whenever the announcement is made before it happens.
