The Alexa Bliss v Randy Orton feud has been one of the highlights of Monday night Raw over the last few months and it took another turn on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Bliss had a unique challenge for Orton:
Later on in the night, Randy responded and WWE made it official, we are getting Bliss v Orton this Sunday at Fastlane.
This will be WWE’s second promoted intergender match in 2021, with the last being Sasha Banks v Reginald in January on SmackDown.
To say intergender matches in WWE are rare is an understatement and the expectation is that this will be more angle than match, leading to an expected showdown at WrestleMania between Orton and The Fiend.
Bliss did note she won’t be coming to the match alone but did state it would not be “him” joining her. What twists and turns await Randy Orton this coming Sunday at WWE Fastlane?
WWE Fastlane takes place on Sunday March 21st and will be WWE’s first big event under their deal with the streaming service Peacock in the USA. The show will be broadcast live on WWE Network elsewhere in the world.
