AEW have announced that the planned match between Scorpio Sky and Shawn Spears has been cancelled as a result of Sky being exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

The company was keen to stress that the SCU member has tested negative on his initial contact test but they have decided to pull him from Dynamite as a precaution so as not to potentially expose the entire roster to the virus.

The announcement on Twitter read:

“Through contact tracing, AEW learned @ScorpioSky was exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last 14 days. An initial test was negative, but AEW has decided to postpone tonight’s scheduled match,”

Tonight’s Dynamite will be the go home show for the Full Gear PPV set to take place this Saturday, 7th November.

The line up for Dynamite currently reads:

  • Cody & The Gunn Club vs. The Dark Order (Colt Cabana, 10 & John Silver)
  • Sammy Guevara and Ortiz vs. MJF and Wardlow
  • Miro vs. Trent
  • Nyla Rose vs. Red Velvet
  • PAC will appear on Dynamite for the first time since March
  • Chris Jericho on commentary
  • Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston go face to face
