The TNT Championship has been a strong platform for wrestlers not contracted to AEW to earn a more permanent opportunity.

It was Warhorse who got the shot at Cody’s gold this week, however we have to go back to the week before to find AEW’s latest roster member.

The organisation have this evening confirmed on Twitter that ‘Mad King’ Eddie Kingston is now a full-time part of the company.

This comes after a brutal hardcore match on last week’s Dynamite, where Kingston took Cody to the limit but came off unsuccessful against the first-ever TNT title holder.
