1999 – WWF ‘St Valentine’s Day Massacre: In Your House’ took place at The Pyramid in Memphis, Tennessee and saw Paul Wight (The Giant from WCW) make his WWF debut by interfering in the main event Steel Cage match between ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and Mr McMahon. Austin’s Wrestlemania XV WWF Title opportunity was up for grabs, and he would win the match when Wight inadvertently threw him into a gimmicked side of the cage, breaking it open and allowing Austin to drop to the floor to win the match.  Also on the card Val Venis defeated Ken Shamrock for the Intercontinental Title, Bob Holly won the WWF Hardcore Title from Al Snow, and The Rock and Mankind fought to a no-contest for the WWF Title in a Last Man Standing match.

2004 – In the main event of the ROH Second Anniversary Show in Braintree, Massachusetts AJ Styles defeated CM Punk in a tournament final to be crowned the first ever ROH Pure Wrestling champion. Also, Samoa Joe defeated B.J. Whitmer, Dan Maff and Low Ki to retain the ROH World Heavyweight Title in a Four Corners Survival match.

2010 – AJ Styles retained the TNA World Heavyweight Title against Samoa Joe at TNA ‘Against All Odds’ PPV in Orlando, with Eric Bischoff as the Special Guest Referee for the title match. In something of a hardcore dream match, Abyss defeated Mick Foley on the card.
