1991 – In Montgomery, Alabama, Rick and Scott Steiner defeated The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin) to win the NWA World Tag Team Championship belts. Due to WCWs filming schedule the match had been taped on February 18th but wasn’t shown until today, which caused a very unique set of circumstances. The Freebirds didn’t actually win the titles until the Wrestlewar PPV on 24th February which means they are officially recognised of having a MINUS six day championship reign.

1996 – ECW Big Ass Extreme Bash is held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show is the last appearance of Cactus Jack (Mick Foley) in ECW before leaving to become Mankind in the WWF. Foley defeated Mikey Whipwreck with a piledriver on a chair and after the match was given a standing ovation from the crowd, before dancing out of the arena with Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie.

2001 – Two days before it was due to take place, ECW cancel the Living Dangerously PPV. It came as no surprise as they had no venue booked, no television to promote it, and no tickets on sale. Also, ECW owner Paul Heyman was appearing on Raw as a commentator.
